Born in Wahiawa, HI, Robb started in puppetry as an 8 year-old with his church’s puppet troop. He continued his performing in college at Point Loma Nazarene University. From there, he received a puppeteering job at Opryland, USA in Nashville, TN. Performing at the theme park from 1993 until its closing in 1997, Robb not only performed as a puppeteer, but also as an actor and as several costumed characters.

After Opryland closed, Robb continued to work as a puppeteer and costume character actor in a variety of projects. Some of these included, Muppets From Space, Elmo in Grouchland, Dominoes Pizza, Big Lots, and Inside Outdoors. Additionally, Robb  performed as a puppeteer for a PBS project entitled "Wisharoo Park," also assisting in set construction and scripting  10 episodes.

In the summer of 2003, Robb went back to school to earn a Master of Science degree in Pre K-12 School Counseling from Tennessee State University. After holding several interim-counseling positions during his final semester, Robb graduated in May of 2005. He was hired as a K-4 school counselor in Nashville, TN. While setting up his counseling program, Robb’s office was moved at the last minute to an annex building nicknamed, "The Pod." Jokingly, the faculty working in " The Pod" were referred to as the "Pod Squad." Robb embraced this term and decided to develop his counseling program around the acronym, P.O.D. (People of Dignity).

Each morning Robb used his puppetry skills with his puppet, Webster. During morning announcements, Robb would bring a 3-5 minute character education segment on closed-circuit TV. The students became attached to Webster and he began to accompany Robb to classrooms for Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons.

After taking another school counseling position in Brentwood, TN, Robb transferred Webster to this school as well. Here he interacted with students with learning differences. It is also at this school, with the urging of his family and wife, Stacy, that Robb decided to take Webster from his school into your home, school, and community.

In the Spring of 2014, Robb graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Professional Practice. His dissertation research project is entitled, The Effects of Puppetry in Improving K-2 Student Retention and Application of Character Curriculum.

At each stop along the way with Robb's career in Education, no matter if it was in the school building or in the administrative central office, Robb has been determined to incorporate puppetry and other creative arts into his work. This combination has attributed to his success in relating to students and helping them retain life-long social and emotional skills.  He would also love to partner alongside you in your efforts to educate children.
